With most things in life I like to start with a goal and work towards that goal. To start about my personal theory of learning I think it is best to begin with the outputs. The first output of my personal theory of learning is an increased understanding of how to learn. Perhaps more importantly is to grow a love of learning in general. With an attitude of being able to learn the new materials that come out I will be able to succeed in a workplace environment where the new materials are required. The second output is that I will focus on building a basic knowledge of fundamentals. In order to be great at anything it is important to have that firm foundation in the fundamentals. The last output I want to focus on in my personal theory of learning in my life is work ethic. Like all things in life if you want something you have to work for it. Love to learn, focus on the fundamentals, and have a great work ethic and I believe anyone will be ready to build out their instructional design.
